Aware of the significant environmental challenges our planet is facing, our School strives to be a leader in demonstrating how to establish a more sustainable way of learning and living. As part of our initiative, Everest ELC is committed to providing a healthy environment for students while promoting ecological sustainability.
Everest ELC seeks to:
Use resources in a sustainable way, by utilizing energy efficiently and by incorporating clean, renewable technologies.
Create a healthy educational community by emphasizing the importance of health and fitness. By opening personal fitness studios, "Everest Life Style studios" and a gym on our virtual campus where students can get informed.
Develop the educational program to emphasize ecological sustainability, environmental health, nutrition, personal responsibility and leadership.
Urge the wider School community - faculty, administration, staff, and parents, to embrace the effort to pursue sustainable living practices. By teaching our students to be leaders of their communities, the earth and its resources, we strive to educate the next generation of leaders to make a difference in improving the environment.
At Everest ELC when it concerns the environment, we promise to descend from our summit to see the tree line.
